Welcome to Check N Tow, LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website — www.checkntow.com — and all related services, products, and content (collectively, the “Services”).


By visiting or purchasing from this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Check N Tow operates exclusively as a mail-order business. We do not maintain a physical retail or customer-facing location.

2. Use of the Site

You may use our website and Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
 

  • Use the site for any fraudulent or unlawful activity.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the site.

  • Attempt to copy, reverse-engineer, or reproduce our website or products.
     

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion if we believe misuse has occurred.

3. Products and Orders

All Check N Tow products are handcrafted and assembled in Douglas, Massachusetts. We make every effort to describe and photograph our products accurately; however, minor variations in color, design, or finish may occur due to handcrafted production.
 

Order Acceptance:

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order, or limit quantities, at our discretion.
 

Pricing and Payment:

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). We accept secure online payments via credit/debit cards and other payment methods offered through Wix Payments. You agree to provide accurate payment and contact information when placing an order.

4. Shipping

Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days from Douglas, MA. Shipping times and carriers vary depending on your location. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

5. Returns and Exchanges

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Check N Tow product, you may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date.
 

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:
 

  • The product must be unused and uninstalled

  • It must include all original parts, adapters, and packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required
     

Returns must be approved before shipping. Items sent back without approval may not be accepted.


How to Start a Return
 

Email support@checkntow.com to request return authorization and instructions.


Return Shipping
 

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect functionality: We provide a prepaid return label.

  • Change of mind / wrong item ordered: The customer is responsible for return shipping.
     

Non-Returnable Items
 

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Custom power adapters or modified orders

  • Products that have been altered, disassembled, installed, or used

  • Final sale items

  • Gift cards
     

Exchanges / Adapter Changes
 

If you need a different adapter, you typically do not need to return the entire unit. Our modular design allows adapter replacement—simply order the adapter you need and we’ll provide instructions.
 

Refunds
 

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of approval status. If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method (please allow up to 10 business days for processing, plus any additional time required by your bank or card provider).

6. Warranties and Limitations

1-Year Limited Warranty
 

Each Check N Tow unit is tested before shipment and includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use. The warranty period begins on the date your product is delivered.

What’s Covered

This Limited Warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Component failure unrelated to misuse

  • Internal wiring or electronics malfunction

  • Structural issues with the enclosure under normal use


What’s Not Covered


This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect wiring, improper electrical connections, or electrical overload

  • Misuse, drops, impact damage, or physical abuse

  • Water intrusion inconsistent with normal testing use

  • Customer modifications, repairs, or alterations

  • Use of non-approved batteries, chargers, or adapters

  • Cosmetic wear or normal wear and tear

  • Third-party batteries/chargers (covered by their respective manufacturers)


How to Start a Warranty Claim


To initiate a warranty claim, email support@checkntow.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos or a short video (if available)


Warranty Service


If your claim is approved, we may repair or replace the unit. For approved warranty returns, we provide a prepaid return label, and repaired or replacement units are shipped back at no cost.


Warranty Disclaimer / Limitations


Except for the express warranty above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Check N Tow, LLC disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you. (See also Section 9 for limitation of liability.)

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including the Check N Tow name, logo, designs, images, text, graphics, and product information — is the intellectual property of Check N Tow, LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted and supported by Wix.com Ltd., which provides the e-commerce and payment platform that enables us to sell products online.
 

By using our Services, you also agree to comply with Wix’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, available at:

We are not responsible for third-party content, apps, or services accessed through our site.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Check N Tow, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our website, products, or services — including, without limitation, property damage, loss of data, or business interruption.
 

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the product.
 

All products are intended for use as trailer-light testing tools only. Check N Tow, LLC is not responsible for damages or injuries resulting from improper use or installation.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Check N Tow, LLC, its owner, affiliates, and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including attorney’s fees) arising from your misuse of our site or products, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Worcester County, Massachusetts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
